About Me & Here 2 Help Services
Oct. 20, '09 - That's me, Christina Gammon, owner of Here 2 Help Services, where people come to find helpful, honest and heartfelt reviews, insight, tips, poetry and more. It's taken a long time to get here. And it wasn't all easy or fun, but I have to admit, it was worth all the work and I am proud of what these pages hold.
Here 2 Help Services started as a way to help only a few. Because I was staying home with my boyfriend's mother, an Alzheimer's patient, and helping out my Dad, who has COPD, I thought I could start my own business helping other elderly people just like them. But no one responded to my ads or brochures. That's okay though, because I didn't realize how full my hands really were at the time. I just accepted it wasn't meant to be and moved on.
A couple months went by and the owner of Cherri Crockett Photography asked me if I wanted to do the upkeep of the River Valley Chamber of Commerce website. I had taken a couple classes and thought that was a great idea! I could do it from home and learn as I went. And my web designing took off! It has been a blast and I have enjoyed creating websites and learning the programs, but my website wasn't putting forth the information I wanted it to.
I felt that I wasn't following my true destiny and something had to change. That's when I stumbled on to Steve Pavlina's website. I realized then that I had a wealth of information to share with people on a really big scale. I realized then that I could finally combine all my passions in to one: elderly care, poetry, computers, web design, and creativity!
I began putting all my efforts toward this new website on October 17 and on November 1, 2009, it was launched. I have loved every minute of this project and look forward to growing this into something even bigger!
I think the pages on this site will fill in the gaps of the "About" section. I have put who I am and what I believe into this site.
So enjoy it! There is a lot of information in these pages so make sure to bookmark it and come back often to check for additions. Or sign up for my free snapshot that comes once a month or so. There is no set schedule for this due to caring for those I love.
Please let me know if you have any . I want this site to be helpful to you.
Warmest wishes,
