Crossroads
When we realized how far along Pat's Alzheimer's was, I was working in a professional position and up for a promotion. It was a crossroads in my life that I'm glad I had.
How do I spend my days?
Corporate level or throw it away?
What helps me grow in life's not green
It's more than being part of the scene
It doesn't require an IQ
Or degree from EDU
All I will need
To help those in need
Is a hand that reaches out
Easing frightful doubts
I was called to ease the strife
Of those who gave us life
Friendly phone calls and visits too
I am here to serve just You.
