This week I am all about Remanufactured ink and toner cartridges! It is my latest discovery through my new partnerships online. There are thousands of companies online that sell ink and other office supplies.

According to Article Alley, over 300 million cartridges end up in landfills each year! Each year! So even though they are small, they add up. It is so easy to just recycle these little things. Most companies provide a postage paid envelope in the box you’re ink comes in. It's nothing to just mail it out and do a small part in cleaning up this planet. I won't go in to this, just listen to the news to hear how important it is to recycle and to reuse.

The number one reason I like them, after helping the environment, is the savings. Most of the ink merchants I have dealt with have a quick delivery. I used 123Inkjets.com to purchase my mothers Dell ink and it was here in 2 days with normal shipping! I expected it to take longer since most places take a week to deliver their merchandise. The ink came through the regular postal service and was delivered right to my mailbox.

While I haven't tested the volume of print, I have read in my research that most remanufactured ink cartridges and toners have 20% more ink than new cartridges have. But the way I look at it is if it has the same, or even a little less, you are still making out because it costs so much less! And, of course, you can feel proud for doing your part to save our planet.

As with any product you purchase online, pay attention to shipping charges and the fine print when dealing with different companies. I love the Internet but you need to be cautious when purchasing anything online. Read the fine print first.
